The
background of this research came from concern over Sabunzu Sarokng Antu story
that despite being transcribed and documented but no deeper study on this story
for more than 16 years. This study aimed to general description of cultural
values in the story Sabunzu Sarokng Dayak oral literature Simpakng Antu
District Simpang Dua Ketapang. The research was conducted using qualitative
methods desktriptif. The approach used in this study is a sociological approach
to literature. Sources of data in this study are transcribed story Sabunzu
Sarokng Antu team from the Institute Dayakologi (ID). This study used
direct observation techniques, interview techniques and documentary study
technique. Data collection tool that recording devices such as MP3, Camera
Handy Camp, and a special note. Based on the results of data analysis, the
study produced the following conclusions. (1) The value of man's relationship
with the culture of the human religion trust and use amulets, people trust and
use magical powers, as well as the people believe and ask for help his buddies.
(2) The value of man's relationship to human culture that is confident, mutual
help, love, and mutual assistance. (3) The cultural value of human
relationships with nature are subject to human nature, human nature and the
human desire to utilize natural master.
